January 2015

I photographed couples at The Center Orlando on January 6th, the first day same-sex marriage became legal in Florida.  This is what the Center put in their January Newsletter:

On January 6th, the day the ban was lifted, The Center was proud to produce an amazing mass wedding ceremony right here at our building located at 946 N. Mills Avenue. A total of 50 couples (35 newly married and 15 renewing their vows) walked down Mills Avenue and were part of our lavish and beautiful ceremony. You will see a few pictures below, but many more, including a youtube video are online on our facebook page located at http;//facebook.com/thecenterorlando.

We need to send an extra special huge THANK YOU to the individuals and companies who donated their time and talents to help make the couples feel so special. These include Circuit Court Judge Bob Leblanc, Cake Boys Confectioners, Travis & Bill Moore Productions, DJ Ronnie, Farvilla Megastore, Jonathan's Florist, The Orlando Gay Chorus, The Orlando Police Department, Tako Cheena, Beau Patrick Photography, Tabcat Productions, The Center staff and volunteers, and the Orlando Fringe.
